Privacy
Privacy, in plain words
Short version: we don’t collect anything about you. The game runs entirely in your browser.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, sign-ups or email addresses.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds.
- No cookies.
- No fingerprinting, and nothing about your play is sent anywhere.
What stays on your device
To remember your streak and results, the game saves a small record in your browser’s local storage under the name fenwick-ridge:v3: the dates you played, your energy, stars, hints used and the route you walked, plus settings such as theme. It never leaves your device. You can download it or delete it at any time from the stats page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
So the game can work offline, your browser also keeps a copy of the site’s files (an “offline cache”). It contains only the game itself, not information about you.
Sharing
The Share button copies a short text summary to your clipboard or opens your device’s share sheet. Nothing is uploaded; you decide where it goes.
The web server
Like any website, the server that delivers these files to your browser may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, time and the file requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don’t use them to profile anyone, and we don’t combine them with anything else.
Children
Because we collect nothing, the game is fine for players of any age.
Changes
If this ever changes, we’ll say so here and in the changelog before it happens. Last updated: October 2026.
